Six Ways to Work Successfully With Energi Personnel

Make an appointment: When you register with us make an appointment. If you show up unexpectedly, we may be unable to fit you in. It will take you at least 40 – 45 minutes to go through our process, so please dedicate that time to register.

Come dressed for an interview: You wouldn’t show up to church in shorts and a tank top, so dress appropriately for your interview. Since we do live in West Texas, clean jeans, plain shirt and work boots are perfectly acceptable. If you are applying for an office position, dress for the position you are applying for. Slacks and nice shirt are fine. Remember no spiked heels, short skirts, or heavy make-up and perfume. Your first impression is very important, so let’s make it a good one.

Bring References: One of the reasons people don’t get placed is lack of references. You need to bring at least 4 and don’t forget the phone numbers. These references should be from previous employers and co-workers. If we call you for more references, please get them to us as quickly as you can. For those who do not have a work history, teachers, long term family, friends, and clergy are acceptable. Always pre screen your references.

Testing: For all light industrial applicants we will give you a safety test. Please pay attention to the video, and answer the questions to the best of your ability. If you are applying for an office position we will give you a number of on-line tests. These tests can be completed in our office, or on your home computer. Expect to spend 1-1/2 to 2 hours on these tests. Completion of the tests will help us place and sell you to a prospective employer.

Interview: Be as forthcoming as possible as we will ask you many questions. Where we place you will depend on your answers. We want to place you in the best job possible where you will be successful. If you don’t have a skill, don’t say you do as we will find out quickly that you don’t.

Follow Up: Always keep in touch with us and call in every 10 days. When a position opens up, you want your name on the top of our list. If you find a position before we can place you, please let us know so we can keep your records accurate. We here at Energi Personnel is always interested in your search and your current employment. The market rresaech field is a good choice. Actually, I am currently job searching trying to find a job in that field myself. For me personally, I see jobs in that field are drying up a lot right now. There were much more opportunities during the summer. From my experience, companies tend not to hire from Thanksgiving to New Years and might even cut back on their workforce. It is sad to say, but I think you have until mid-November to find a job otherwise the openings will be few and far between. I would start searching immediately. The market does not pick up until about March.

This is a tough one.The primary resaon that people are terminated from a job is in not getting along with co-workers. My feeling is that the people who are going to hire you like you in the first few minutes (first interview) but when they spend more time with you, they find things about you that will be problematic with the group you'd work with.As a former owner of several companies, I had similar issues in hiring people. Things that would be the kiss of death for a potential employee (and I never told them this) were: someone who smokes (too much time outside), too talkative (too much time wasted), too much of a know-it-all (destroys team spirit), too much pontificating of a religious belief), and others.You need to take a hard look at yourself and see if you have any abrasive qualities, anything that would get on the nerves of people after they have been around you for more than the first interview. It's likely that you won't be able to recognize these yourself. In that case, ask a friend someone who will be brutally honest with you. It's my guess that the problem will be revealed if you do this. Once you know the problem, it's up to you to take steps to solve it.Or, maybe you will soon find a place that's the perfect fit for you. Good luck.

First let me start by saying that whtaever companies that have given you this lame excuse for not hiring you are not worth your time. Corporations are ultimately microcosms of the real world so it would seem to me that if you fit in the real world as a functioning member of our society than if given the opportunity you would fit into any corporate culture. If it would give you peace of mind in your next job searches try to meet people who are already employed there to get an idea about what kind of people thrive there. I'm not psychic but I think you may be getting this brush off because they may feel you are over-qualified (too much experience) and that you may not be trainable to fit into their established way of doing things. Try to reassure them of your willingness to grasp all parts of the processes and protocols they have in place while incorporating your knowledge and skill sets.

I haven't heard or read anything about it, and I'm on WordPress.com, not plaivtery hosted, but I have in fact had quite a few spam comments slip through last week. Nothing major, but still. They go into moderation, though, since I set my preferences to commenter must have previously approved comment. Those spammers seem to keep trying to circumvent Akismet, but eventually it always recovers. Up to now, at least. Will it ever end?

Interesting plugin that you moniten, but I don't think I will be using it.I haven't noticed any increase in spam since installing the dofollow plugin. There is the odd comment every now and then that needs deleted, but if they are a first time poster, they get held for moderation anyway.With askimet and bad behavior plugins, I don't think spam is really an issue (right now).If it becomes and issue, this plugin may very well become useful.Thanks for pointing it out.

I just left a comment on your most recent post mentioning my intention to dofollow, and already got two comments on my blog from people who read my comment, and I'm wondering whether it's because I dofollow now or because they find my rambling wildly fascinating. I have taken large amounts of vintaims since I was 16 years old. At 37 I had a sonogram of my heart and aorta etc done the technician told me i had the cleanest heart and surrounding vessels she had ever seen mind you, my diet for the previous 15+ years had been 80% fast food or processed food..i was 100 pounds overweight..ate a lot of eggs and meat..Kind of odd as I expected to have some build up considering my diet and that I never exercised.
